Wikipedia

Camellia oil is a vegetable oil of high viscosity, which is extracted from the seeds of different species of camellia. In China, Vietnam, and Japan, Camellia oil is mainly extracted from the oil-rich species of Camellia oleifera and Camellia sasanqua; in rarer cases, it is also extracted from the less oily seeds of the tea plant (Camellia sinensis).[1] Camellia (Camellia japonica), known as an ornamental plant, plays a minor role as source of the oil. The oil should not be confused with tea tree oil, which is obtained from another plant.
